By both their actions and refusal to help , the society represent the sealand woman shows itself to be as prejudiced and intolrant as the people in Waknuk.Do you agree? I do not agree to this statement. When the telepaths fled to Sealand from Waknuk. The sealand woman were friendly toward them.In chapt 17, daivd was trapped and the woman told him and David ways to free him and ease themselves, this shows that they are not refusing to help but willing to do so and not prejudiced toward the waknuk people as she was actually willing to help a people in Waknuk. Also, They too believed that they could create a better world than the old people and in the story there isnt any dicrimition between the Sealand and Waknuk people. The evidence is"But we do know that we can make a better world than the old people did."And "the sea land woman came in reassuring us again, telling us to keep calm and have patience... Petra, darling, you heard what she says. You must try to keep stilL" "the waiting seemed interminable. my skin crawled under of touchof stuff, and the pull of it was becoming painful."
